Q: How long have you been doing sports and portrait photography?
A: I have been photographing for more than six years. I started as a second shooter for my wife, Sherry Brown Photography, and I have spent years practicing sports photography while watching my three boys play sports. This experience helps me understand what parents want and how to capture real moments.
Q: Do you travel for photos?
A: Yes. I mainly serve Saint John and surrounding areas, but I will travel anywhere in New Brunswick for larger bookings or with a travel fee.
Q: Do you offer more than sports photography?
A: Yes. I am expanding into event photography, promotional videos, team photos, and individual posed portraits.
Pre Orders and Game Coverage
Q: Why should I pre order game photos?
A: Pre ordering guarantees that your athlete will receive focused coverage during the game. It also gives you a package of digital downloads at a better value. This is the only way to ensure that your athlete appears in the gallery.
Q: How many pre orders do you take per game?
A: I usually accept around six pre orders per game, depending on the sport and age group. This allows me to concentrate on the athletes who have reserved coverage.
Q: When will the gallery be posted after the game?
A: Galleries are usually posted a few days after the game.
Q: How long will the gallery stay online?
A: Galleries remain available for at least three months.
Q: Can I request specific moments during the game?
A: I provide general game coverage. I cannot guarantee that I will capture a specific moment such as a goal or a certain play. If there is a special event such as opening ceremonies, please let me know ahead of time and I will do my best.
Posed and Team Photos
Q: What is included in your posed and team photo packages?
A: Every package includes a web size digital file and a Memory Mate, which is an 8x10 print featuring your athlete’s individual posed photo and the team photo together. Each package also includes a selection of prints based on the tier you choose.
Q: Do I need to bring order forms, cash, or e transfers on photo day?
A: No. All ordering is done online from home. You do not need to send money or paperwork with your athlete. You can view all the proofs, select your favorite image, and place your order using a credit card or e-transfer.
Q: Can I add extras to my package?
A: Yes. Add-ons include posters, double sided trading cards, and extra prints. These can be added to any package or ordered individually.
Digital Files and Prints
Q: What size are the digital files?
A: All digital downloads from posed and team photo packages are web size files that are perfect for sharing online. Game action photo downloads are high resolution JPG files that vary slightly depending on cropping.
Q: What print products do you offer?
A: I offer standard prints, Memory Mates, trading cards, magnets, and other professional lab products.
Q: How are digital downloads delivered?
A: You will receive an email link that gives you access to the unwatermarked images you purchased.
Q: How are the physical prints delivered?
A: We offer a monthly bulk print order to help you save on shipping. Place your order any time during the month and your prints will be included in the next bulk order at the beginning of the following month. Once the prints arrive, I will either mail them to you or arrange a convenient meetup for pickup at no extra cost.
If you prefer faster delivery or want your prints shipped directly to your door, you can choose a flat rate of $24.99 for home delivery.
Payment and Policies
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: You can pay with Visa or Mastercard directly on my website, or by e transfer or cash on site when needed.
Q: Do you offer discounts for multiple games or siblings?
A: Not at this time, but it is something I may offer in the future.
Q: What happens if a game is cancelled?
A: If a game is cancelled, we will reschedule for a time that works for everyone.
